Client Relationship Manager - Windows Managed Services

Abtech Technologies has been a leader in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years and is recruiting for a Client Relationship Manager in its Windows Managed Services Division.

Primary responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Pre-sales support with existing clients.
    • Identifying new sales opportunities in the existing WMS client base
    • Collaborating with technical resources in the architecting and assembling of the Statements of Work for project proposals.
    • Delivery and close of the proposed project with the client.
  • Post-sales support for new clients.
    • Account Management & Support of new customers during the on-boarding process.
    • Drive on-boarding schedule and tasks.
    • Assist the technical team with the completion of the On-Boarding Checklist.
    • Work with the VP of Engineering in the management of technical resources and scheduling of projects and events.
    • Manage customer expectations during a project or contract engagement.
    • Provide and review monthly technical and activity reports with clients.
  • Provide exceptional client service.
    • Ongoing management of client relationships.
    • Monitor customer surveys and follow-up when necessary.
    • Prepare, schedule and chair Periodic Business Reviews with accounts owned by the CRM as well as accounts owned by the Account Executive.

    The successful candidate will work within our Windows Managed Services group and will be a consummate professional and will provide exceptional personal attention to new and existing accounts needed during on-boarding of new services as well as during the periodic follow up calls and visits.

    Qualifications and Expectations:

    • This position requires strong communication skills with a “Can Do” attitude.
    • Must operate at the highest level of integrity at all times.
    • Must respond and follow up in a timely manner to all customer communications.
    • Develop proactive account management to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, client retention, quality of service delivery, and account growth.
    • Coordinate and chair client Kickoff meetings with new clients.
    • 5+ years of proven experience selling IT related products and/or services in the commercial high-tech marketplace.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
    • A deep understanding of technology and how it relates to business needs.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills are a must with the ability to lead and conduct meetings with prospects and clients.
    • Entrepreneur who can find opportunities in any customer problem and map them to the Abtech technology services and skill sets.
    • Possess high level of business acumen with a track record working in IT services industry with SMB experience a plus.

      San Diego area Tier 1 Helpdesk Support Engineer

      Helpdesk Support Engineer for the company's managed services customers. Candidate will possess a broad technical knowledge of Windows based desktops and a basic technical knowledge of Windows Server, LAN/WAN and IP networking. Candidate will be experienced in providing desktop support, troubleshooting Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, have basic networking knowledge, along with excellent customer service and communication skills.

      Primary Job Functions:
      Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support to end users. Provide troubleshooting and technical support remotely via phone, web based tools and email, as well as onsite visits to customer locations. Advise customers regarding the product's proper use and address specific user issues. During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 or Tier 3 support if necessary.

      Required Skills:

      • Windows Desktop Support (Windows XP, Vista, 7)
        • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
        • Competent in basic troubleshooting and setup of Microsoft Office
        • Virus / Spyware removal
      • Windows Server system administration (2003 and 2008 required,)
        • Exchange (2007 required, Exchange 2010 a plus), basic maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting
        • Backup monitoring and administration (Symantec Backup Exec preferred, other packages are a plus)
        • Password resets
        • Strong knowledge of Active Directory in small to midsize network environments
        • Ability to review and interpret application and security logs
      • VMware and or Hyper-V experience
        • Virtualization experience is a plus
      • Networking / Internet Protocols / Firewall / Router / Wireless access point configuration
        • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
        • Experience with SonicWALL’s line of networking equipment is preferred
        • Cisco experience a plus
      • Strong written and verbal skills
      • Ability to handle clients professionally throughout all interactions
      • Highly motivated and organized with an attention to detail and a passion for excellence.

      Desired Skills:

      • Mac skills, especially in relation to connecting Apple products to a Windows based network.
      • Basic iOS and Android skills
      • Experience using a help desk ticketing system

      Experience:
      1+ years of helpdesk support experience in a fast paced environment, or entry level with various up-to-date certifications (MTA, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, etc…)

      San Diego area Tier 2 IT Systems Engineer

      Systems Engineer for the company's managed services clients located throughout Southern California. Candidate will possess a broad technical knowledge of Windows based servers and desktops as well as IP networking and virtualization technologies. Candidate will be experienced in providing system administration and troubleshooting of Windows based servers and desktops as well as administering Virtual environments utilizing both VMware and Hyper-V. Candidate will also possess data networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills along with exceptional customer service, follow up, organizational, and communication skills.

      Primary Job Functions:

      • Provide Tier 2 technical support to end users remotely via phone, web based tools, and email, as well as onsite visits to client locations when necessary.
      • Perform preventive and proactive maintenance and support as needed.
      • Advise customers regarding the product's proper use and address specific user issues.
      • Act as a liaison between end users and Tier 3 support if necessary.
      • Assisting the sales team with pre-sales technical support, attending prospect meetings, and preparing Statements of Work for the sales representatives.
      • Required Skills:

        • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
        • Windows Desktop Support (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7).
        • Competent in advanced troubleshooting and setup of Microsoft Office.
